Support for The Center For Education, Business & Arts (CEBA) is growing every day. Downtown Shenandoah, Inc. lists the names of each and every donor in their monthly newsletter so readers can see how many people from Schuylkill County and beyond are coming together to make this much needed community/innovation center a reality.
"There is nothing like CEBA in our area and that is why DSI is committed to this project," said Susan Williams, Executive Director. "On behalf of the DSI Board of Directors, volunteers and community members, we are extremely thankful to everyone who has donated any amount towards this project. "Like all projects of this scope, there has been some bumps along the way, but these challenges are opportunities that will be very worthwhile when CEBA's doors open," she added.
CEBA will include a commercial kitchen, an event center, Penn State classroom, coffee café, and co-working spaces. CEBA is for everyone in the Schuylkill County region, from all walks to life, to learn new skills, create new businesses, enjoy special events, create jobs, collaborate, and so much more!
Our motto is, “every dollar counts, your dollar counts,” and we genuinely mean it," added Williams. In addition to funding from our state government, donations from individuals throughout the entire county and beyond are helping DSI gain the financial momentum. When CEBA's doors open, it will be a catalyst for economic growth in our area. It will be a collaborative environment where everyone is invited to learn and grow. "Everyone who donates any amount will receive a leaf on a special giving tree that will be located in CEBA's lobby," shared Williams. "We want everyone to see how we all came together to make CEBA a reality."
