DSI is hosting the annual Coal Cracker Christmas, a free-to-attend family-friendly event that kicks off the holiday season in Shenandoah. It's conveniently held right outside the DSI Office at Veterans Memorial Park, 116 N. Main Street.
This annual event is a way to thank the community for all their support throughout the year. Attendees will enjoy a Christmas tree lighting, Christmas carols, horse-drawn trolly rides, cookies, hot chocolate, and seeing Santa Claus.
This year the event is generously sponsored by Shenandoah One Stop and Mid Penn Bank. Save the date: Friday, November 24, 2023. The tree lighting opens the event at 5:45 PM.
