Teach, Write, Create! Here's a bio about your instructor:
"After graduating from Kutztown University with my degree in Art Education in 2007, I started teaching, writing and creating. I began by teaching Art to inner city students across Philadelphia and Baltimore. I taught everything from drawing and painting to sculpture Art. Then rounded out my teaching career by being the Arts Integration Specialist in Baltimore. I enjoyed showing other teachers how to use the power of Art and design to elevate their subject matter and grow their students’ knowledge base with a hands-on approach and out-of-the-box thinking techniques.
Outside of teaching I’ve created everything from Logos, to Children's Book Art, as well as authoring three award winning science fiction novels that can be found on Amazon. After the birth of my son, I decided that full time teaching was something I wanted to give up in favor of being a full time Mom and freelance artist. Now I work on commissioned artworks of all varieties, teach sip and paint classes at various art centers across Pennsylvania while enjoying time with my children as they grow up and growing my small business, Perno’s Paintings. I look forward to being a part of your artwork journey!
